Designed to complement the Listed main residence, this bespoke indoor pool combines timeless architecture with one of the UK's most advanced renewable indoor pool installations. Traditional Tudor-inspired detailing, elegant arched windows and handcrafted materials allow the building to sit effortlessly within its surroundings, while discreetly integrated solar technology preserves its classic appearance.

Inside, contemporary finishes create a striking contrast. The indoor pool and circular hydrotherapy spa are finished in black iridescent mosaics beneath softly illuminated coffered ceilings, creating a space that feels both elegant and understated. Hidden beneath the refined interiors is a completely bespoke renewable energy solution, developed in collaboration with leading specialists. An extensive Ground Source Heat Pump works alongside solar photovoltaic and solar thermal technology, complemented by an existing solar farm serving the main residence, to power the pool building with exceptional efficiency and performance.

Winner of the 2026 SPATA Sustainability Award, this project demonstrates that outstanding design and environmental responsibility can coexist without compromise. Featured in Heat Pumps Today magazine, the property costs approximately £6 per day to run throughout winter, with running costs reducing to virtually zero during the summer months thanks to its pioneering energy system.
